We also performed and scripted Puppet Sketches which we performed for Rang 2 and Rang 3 . The senior classes spent time preparing the sketches , including humour, topical references, audience participation and interests of their audience to great avail. They also made glove and stick puppets and their pride and joy was the Puppet Theatre which was given to the younger children for their use in the future. Photos of the puppets have also been taken. Each script / performance was assessed under the various headings and a critique was delivered to each team. Bravo Rang a 4,5,6

Our recent dramatic experience took us to two different dramatic scenes, one taken from Tom Sawyer, where Tom is elected Captain of the Band and he explains the Oath and activities of these robbers and muderers . They kill men or hold them for ransom but the women they keep in the cave 'til by and by they fall in love with these thieves! The Second and Third Classes made the acquaintance of Huck Finn and all the gang. Mark Twain's writing came alive and a great performance was given by the Senior boys.

This was preceded by a thoughtful, lively performance of A Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde and the same boys turned themselves into the four seasons and a group of happy children playing together in the Giant's garden. The giant himself was very realistic and the younger boys ( the audience) were spellbound by the whole atmosphere. Your turn next boys!! .
