NOTE FROM THE BEEKEEPER
Happy MOOOO year everyone! I hope all of you enjoyed your Christmas..oops I mean "WINTER" break and hopefully teachers didn't send you off with homework xmas gifts. December was filled with so much of the spirit of giving and I'm really proud of everyone. I just read in the Baldwin Park NOW about how the city of Baldwin Park did so much in December as well. It's nice to know how much our Key Club has contributed to the city. Well, now we're back in school and it's 2001 hooray!! Gosh, it seems like 2000 just flew right under our noses. Anyhow, we got a whole new year to go out and help others, make a Key Club "moo" year's resolution. Like try and complete the Key Club 50 hour requirement or go above and beyond that, maybe start going to the children's center 3 times a week or tutor at Tracy or Sierra Vista Junior High. Even though the new year is here, the Key Club year ends in March and elections are already in February! Fast huh?? So if you need to do service we'll try and find things to do, it's just your responsibility to go out there and do them. Okay well it's great to see everyone back and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

NOTE FROM THE BEEKEEPER
So it's December and another newsletter is here and every week Key Club has there meeting and evey week we usually have a what??? A EVENT of course!!! And i hope all of you know that. But I know some of you don't. Please read through this newsletter and attend the next few meetings because its December. And you're thinking so what if it's December? HELLO!!!!!! This is the best month to go out there and show you care. It's that special time of the year and there are so many things we can do, and we do have a lot of thinks planned, so make sure you are there. And if you don't care if it's that special time of year, why don't you just end the year 2000 with a bang and go all out and have some fun doing community service. WOW that's kinda scary...it's almost 2001 see time is flying by so fast, don't let time fly without giving to another. Okay, well other than that, have a MeRRy X-mAs and HaPPy NeW yEaR!!!

Sorry for the lack of updates. My senior project and college apps. are taking up most of my time. And to top everything off, I am in the middle of moving. Don't worry, I'm not leaving you guys. I'm moving down the street. Our new house is just a couple of blocks away from our old house. I would like to thank everyone who has submitted a shoutout. I promise to post them up on the next update (probably after December 2 when my research paper is due). Thanks, and sorry for the delay.

NOTE FROM THE BEEKEEPER
Hey everyone! Wow! Key Club has been sooooo BUSY this year!!! Isn't that great! I'm glad to see most of you doing service, and I hope ALL of you are working towards the goal of 50 hours! That would be great if we had 100% of our members get 50 hours each. Other than that (goal).... I hope everyone has been reaching the small goal of 5 hours per month???? AT LEAST! And it does seem like that's happening. I know AIDS walk was like 6 or 8 hours! And was that FUN or what!!!! But I do want to apologize about the transportation conditions. The problem is, it is very difficult for us to get rides....so go out there and try and get your parents...involved....Puhlease!

Well, November is here and it's another month piled high with Key Club events!!!!!! We have the tennis tournament, dcm, the Thanksgiving dinner!!!! Get involved, but don't burn yourself out okay!

There are updates in the "Upcoming Events" and "Past Events" section. The calendar will be updated shortly.
-Huy Nguyen

You do not need to sign up for events via school hours anymore. If you want to, or are interested, you can sign up for any event(s) using the internet. It's fast for you, and it's easy on us. Click here to check it out.

This is so bad. I accidentally ditched zero and first period. My hand accidentally hit the off button on the alarm this morning. I came to second period tired and sleepy, and found out I had to take a test. In third period, I had to listen to guest speakers. Fourth period...I didn't even go to fourth. I went home and slept instead. That's when I accidentally ditched the Key Club meeting. My dumb hand accidentally hit the off button again, so I couldn't pick up the member list. Sorry people. There's an update on the Aids Walk section though.
October 16, 2000
Yesterday's Aids Walk was almost perfect. Lets see, we met in front of the school at 5am (well, at least some of us), figured out the rides, and left to LA. When we arrived, we had to wait in the sign-in line for nearly 2 hours. Then our job for the day was given to us. Some had to cheer the walkers, some walked, some worked at checkpoint 4, and some had to keep an eye on the Paramount parking lot. Some jobs were more fun then others, but the most important thing was that we helped. You'll hear more about the Aids Walk on Tuesday (tomorrow).
October 12, 2000
Nope...no updates yet. It is 10:25 AM, and I'm in Mrs. Atchley. I'm suppose to do college and SAT stuff, but I flaking out again. Oh well, I'll do it later. The pictures will be up soon. For real. Later.
October 10, 2000
Sorry everyone, there are no updates today. I was about to go to the meeting and pick up the list of members, but I flaked out. Don't worry, it'll be up soon.
