House Fix-Up

| This event occurred on Dec 2, 2000. Not many students were there. In the beginning, there was a lot of SV students, 5 BP students, and 3 Walnut students. But just before we started working, the BP students left. They asked the guys to help clean the backyard, while the girls cleaned inside the house. They didn�t assign anything for me to do, so I decided to talk to the lady. I didn't get her name, but she told me about her pass and how BP used to look like. She told me that she was one of the few people who were the first people in BP. Her husband passed away. She also told me that her and her husband used to always go to a Chinese restaurant every Friday night. She was really happy seeing everyone help her clean her house. She was even glad for some things to go. For lunch we all ate In & Out. Mr. Bill and one of his daughters was there as well. After lunch, many students left, but other students arrived. From that point on there was only SV students. During the week that the community was cleaning the house, no one went. The house is now beautiful. When you have time or if you are just passing by, I suggest you to visit her. She is very lonely and would like some visitors. | ||||
