October 31, 2000 was a scary night at Morgan Park. Morgan Park was holding a Halloween Fest taht started at 5 P.M.-7 P.M. There were many scary costumes, cute costumes, and funny costumes. The parents were even dressed up. They had costume contests for different age groups and the winners would win a mountain bike that was very nice. There were game booths that all of the children could play and win lots of candy. If they couldn't win any of the games they still get candy anyways. It was a fun night at the Halloween Fest and when it was over everyone went trick or treating safely.

Trick-or-Treat for IDD went great! Just want to congratulate everyone for participating in this event. You all helped the little children who need vitamins. For all of you who went door-to-door on Halloween asking for donations...good job! If you haven't turned in the money, please remember to do so. Katy's collecting them but if you can't find her then just give it to any of the Board Members. Katy has all the money right now but she hasn't been able to count them all so we'll announce who won the free dinner as soon as we find out. Everyone did a great job!
