March 7 vs Clockwork
Clockwork 9
Phlegms
5

All were present except Colin and Bev (who actually came later with the video camera, bless her heart).

Well, things went pretty good at first when we scored the first point. Things got a little out of hand as the Clockwork applied maximum pressure. Perhaps we had become lax after a month of not playing hard! And asTami from Leadbelly Blues said before, at least we didn't get skunked.

Another disappointment was the lame-ass tardiness of the cone setup. Clockwork decided to sing us a Violent Femmes song but at least they wrote it well and sang it with pride. Our country-themed cheer was a good group effort with everyone taking part, even dividing into sub-groups. Then we all shared a mickey of green liqueur.
You scored 9 to 5
And you vever gave us credit
We lost 9 to 5
But we're not gonna sweat it
We sucked 9 to 5
If you want it come and get it
It's enough to give you herpes if you let it

If it hadn't been for Clockwork O
We'd be finished a long time ago
Where d o you come from
How do you blow?
You're all a bunch a ho's
Clockwork O

We go throws that go no places
They knock 'em down
With our faces
We're bruised today

We're not big on winning races
We haven't learned how to tie our laces
But we're tired now
Slurp some puss today

In a warm Kinsmen fieldhouse
In a game bound for nowhere
We met up with the Clockwork
We are now too tired to weep
We took turns at hucking
We couldn't help but fucking
Up.

Til boredom overtook us
And we just let you win

You gotta know when to throw them
Know when to hold them
Know when to drag your ass
Know when to run

You never count your points
When you're playing against the Clockwork
And in this final gesture
Is a point that you can keep
[extend finger here]

Dan lofts it over the Clockwork.
This guy was pretty good.
Bill strikes a C3PO pose. Kim's R2D2 impersonation is less convincing.
This Clockwork chick rocked.
Pete does the "hump" defense.
Marty totally outreaches her opponent.
Clockwork...those buggers.
