In our human world we confine the furry creatures to our dwellings, we feed them prepared and processed foods and we alter their reproductive organs. So what can we do to comnpensate for all that. Well, you could start by learning all about your cats nutrition needs. Always remeber that healthy food means healthy cat and in the long run it will result in reduced vet bills and most importantly more years of play time. But if illness strikes learn to read the signs and get help before it is too late. One of the most important things in your cat's life is the litter box. Anything out of the ordinary in the usage or reluctance to use the litter box means something is wrong. So watch out for those litter box issue and you will be able to spot first signs of illness or stress. And talking about stress, please please please don't let stress get to your cat, eccess of stress can lead to such common problems as inapropriate elimination, illness and undesirable behavior. After mastering the health, nutrition and smelly-cat issues, you should move on to the higher levels of communication with your cat. As it is among humans there are some very well afjusted and sociable felines but there are also those who just don't fit in and are poorly socialized. Socialization is a very important aspect of yours and your cat's life together. While socialization might be a challenging topic, learning to talk to your cat is lots of fun and it is considered part of socialization. And by the way, when next time you talk to your cat please ask him or her where does the PURRR come from?
