January 2004.  Under the banner of the
International League of Peoples' Struggle (ILPS) and the Asia-Pacific Research Network (APRN), SINAGBAYAN participated in the Mumbai Resistance 2004 Conference held in Mumbai, India to condemn imperialist globalization and the U.S. wars of aggression, in solidarity with foreign anti-imperialist groups and individuals.

INTERNATIONAL WORK

SINAGBAYAN works to bring the attention and support of the international community to the Filipino people's issues and unites with individuals, groups and organizations in other countries in advancing the struggle against imperialism, feudalism and bureaucrat-capitalism.
December 2005.  SINAGBAYAN, in coordination with other cultural organizations,  staged lightning performances and other visual art propaganda during the People's Action Week held in Hong Kong to protest the ongoing World Trade Organization talks. SINAGBAYAN also helped in promoting the issues of other org organizations, such as the Peace for Life, an global peace-based movement resisting militarized globalization, and the Pesticide Action Network- Asia Pacific (PAN-AP), an international organization focusing on the plight of rice-producing countries and the effect of globalization.

SINAGBAYAN is a cultural mass organization based in the Philippines. Its membership is composed of writers, musicians, visual artists, art enthusiasts, cultural workers and activists who arouse, organize and mobilize the masses towards national democracy.

SINAGBAYAN serves the people
by actively participating in the people's struggle; in particular,  by advocating a nationalist, scientific and mass-oriented culture. 

Art from the people and for the people. SINAGBAYAN studies, creates and popularizes art and literature which present the life and struggle of the Filipino masses.
