CHAPTER-BUILDING The basic unit of SINAGBAYAN is the chapter, composed of a minimum of ten members. Each SINAGBAYAN chapter stands as an integral performing group -- one which has the capacity to perform, at a minimum, a standard repertoire; and capable of creating new art works/pieces. SINAGBAYAN also forms other cultural groups and encourages existing groups, whose objectives are similar to SINAGBAYAN's, to become affiliate organizations. |
SINAGBAYAN-Commonwealth This community-based chapter was officially founded on August 29, 2004. Its members were the prime movers of the play "Repleksyon sa Eleksyon". Since then, they have been involved in various performances and productions. The chapter held its 2nd General Assembly on May 31, 2006. |
UP SINAGBAYAN The University of the Philippines - Diliman chapter was officially recognized as a University-based organization on July 30, 2004. Its recent activities include community volunteer programs, room-to-room performances and productions. |

KMM-SINAGBAYAN The Kapisanan ng mga Mandudula sa Marikina (KMM), a formation of theater groups based in Marikina, has been affiliated with SINAGBAYAN since 2004. SINAGBAYAN guided the formalization of KMM and its orientation, goals and principles. Since then, it has tied up with SINAGBAYAN in various activities. |
SINAGBAYAN- Metro Tacloban chapter Founded in Tacloban City in the Eastern Visayas region through a series of workshops conducted in the province. It produced the play "Tiklos!" (communal farming) depicting the Palo massacre on Nov.21, 2005, wherein 9 peasants were killed by the military. |
National Chapter The chapter's organizational work is supervised by the Executive Committee (Execom) and the committees under the Execom: Finance, Education and Propaganda & Campaigns. Each member is part of a committee. The membership is also divided into teams which organizes chapters in schools and communities. |

Its membership is composed of writers, musicians, visual artists, art enthusiasts, cultural workers and activists who arouse, organize and mobilize the masses towards national democracy. SINAGBAYAN serves the people by actively participating in the people's struggle; in particular, by advocating a nationalist, scientific and mass-oriented culture. Art from the people and for the people. SINAGBAYAN studies, creates and popularizes art and literature which present the life and struggle of the Filipino masses.
