Syllabus Worksheets Work to Date

     *  This page was last updated in Spring of '05 so be careful to get the current information as to the number of days this was done and what project has been assigned from your student, or e-mail me.

After you have seen what project has been assigned, just keep track of the grade earned and do the math.  This will keep you fairly current with your grade.  The grade is also affected by "extra credit" points added, and points taken away for gum chewing, and other sorts of ill behavior on your part.  I will always tell you when a point is taken away, you may "earn it back" by staying after school that day for 10 min.  You must remind me that that is why you are staying after school so that I will make the correction in the grade book.  You may watch me do so so that there is no confusion.  It is YOUR responsibility to see that I do it THAT DAY!  If you don't no point will be earned back, period!

Failure to do and hand in homework on a project may lower your grade by up to 3 points, or 1 entire grade!  Just do the work and life is SO much easier!!

Stay tuned to this web site, and help me stay current by telling me that you are paying attention.

Here is how someone figured their grade one trimester, this trimester's method is no different, just the projects may differ.  You need to put in the project name and then you need to put in how many days it was worked on.  You may ask the teacher if you have forgotten:

Assignment #1  2pt. perspective      X    6  =           points          Worked on it for 6 days, hence 6 grades.    6 total to divide by

Assignment #2  2pt. name               X    5  =           points           Worked on it for 5 days, hence 5 grades,   11 total to divide by

Assignment #3 Logos                      X    8  =           points           Worked on it for 8 days, hence 8 grades,   19 total to divide by

Assignment #4 Shading shapes, cone and cylinder
X    5  =           points           Worked on it for 5 days, hence 5 grades,    24 total to divide by

Assignment #5 Shading bottles and can
X    5  =           points           Worked on it for 5 days, hence 5 grades,  29 total to divide by

Assignment #6 Monochromatic Surrealism
X    6  =           points           Worked on it for 6 days, hence 6 grades,  35 total to divide by

Assignment #7 Polychromatic Surrealism
X    7  =           points           Worked on it for 7 days, hence 7 grades,  42 total to divide by

Assignment #8 Letterset                  X    7  =           points           Worked on it for 7 days, hence 7 grades,  49 total to divide by

.  .  .  and so on.  You do the math.  The grade is also affected by extra credit points and points off for breaking rules.  When in doubt always consult with the teacher after school for the most current grade.
