General Class Objectives

Dear Parents,

            Welcome to the 2006-2007 year.  Your student is in my 8^th grade Drawing and Painting class and I want to see every student succeed.  This class is based on the one that I teach for the 7th graders, but it is not necessary to have had that class; many students only have the 8th grade version due to school transfers and program changes.  That which I teach here is further work in Art focusing on more advanced usage of that learned last year and the students move into further Art movements and techniques.

            I am always happy to work with you to help your student succeed.  My 2^nd period conference period is from 9:40 to 10:25 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.  On Wednesday it is easiest to just leave a message.  A message may be left at the school number 788-7501.  I encourage you to write me a note or use both the e-mail link [email protected] and a phone message to let me know you have e-mailed me!  I thank you for all of your help in helping me to give the best possible education to your child for their future happiness.
