| Did you know that the Bible tells us to think inside the box? In Revelation 21:16 it says that the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, is a cube: �The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long.� In other words, Heaven is a perfect cube; a big box! And verse 27 it says, �Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful...� So inside the city there are only good things, but, �Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.� - (Rev. 22:15) Now, there is a verse in Philippians (chapter 4 verse 8) that says, �Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.� Well, all of those good things are found within the holy city, inside the box! Outside the city are all the filthy things that you shouldn�t think about. People have often told me that I think outside the box, but I don�t agree with that. Besides, I don�t want to think outside the box, I want to think inside the box. If you think about it, I�m not the one who�s thinking outside the box, but rather it�s those people who think I�m thinking outside the box, those are the one�s who are thinking outside the box. However, they don�t think they�re thinking outside the box because they got the wrong box! So then, when it comes to the Eternal Holy City, think inside the box, but when it comes to the Temporary Sin City, think outside the box. �Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins...� -Rev. 18:4 �Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God�s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will.� -Romans 12:2 �Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.� -Rev. 22:14 �May the Lord, the God of the spirits of all mankind, appoint a man over this community to go out and come in before them, one who will lead them out and bring them in, so the Lord�s people will not be like sheep without a shepherd.� -Numbers 27:16, 17 |
