Bright and optimistic, Tifa always cheers up the others when they're down. But don't let her looks fool you, she can decimate almost any enemy with her lethal fists and fighting technique. She is also an expert with kicks, and her left shoe has a metal-plated sole for extra damage. In general her attacks are fairly weak, although her limit breaks can be used to great effect in battle.

Tifa always tries to see the good in things, and is always positive and forward thinking, trying to keep the rest of the party in an optimistic mood. She is one of the main members of AVALANCHE, and tends her bar, Seventh Heaven, in the slums when she's off duty. A childhood friend of Cloud, they grew up in Nibelheim together before Cloud left for Midgar. Her presence in the team causes some tension between herself and Aeris. Although Tifa still has strong feelings for Cloud, she would never admit it to him.
