So ye wants to be a pirate?
Thar's some things ye'll need to know!

. . .And you can find out at the

School of Swashbuckling -
Piracy by course work
est. 1999
brought to you by Captain Stinky and First Mate Pyewackett.

Courses on offer -

Pirate Economics

The Practicalities of Piracy

Sex and the Seas

Women and Piracy

Recreational Violence

Punishment

Drunkenness

The Philosophy of Piracy

Please note: Due to lack of interest, the subject ‘Ethics and Morals and Carnal Forbearance’ is no longer on offer.
However, in breaking news, the position of Dean of the School of Swashbuckling’s School of Implied Ethics has been filled by Admiral-Emeritus Graham Parker, after a posthumous nomination by his son, Simon (a recent graduate of the SoS).
Admiral Parker’s contributions have been and will continue to be greatly influential and he is a welcome addition to our pirate crew (now proudly scurvy-free for two weeks).

Once you feel you've studied enough, you can test your piratical capabilities by taking our "School of Swashbuckling: Final Exam";
learn about the founders of the school and their patron saint;
or investigate the school's page of links and references.
