NB: There are sometimes difficulties in maintaining enrolments in this course - Professor Kidd has problems suppressing mutiny and his students tend to be overcome with the urge to bog off with his ship while he is at the lectern.

Basic economics
It's a simple equation:
merchant ship and loot +  pirate ship and loot = debauchery and drunkenness OR buried treasure.

Advanced Treasure Hiding and Disease Spreading
Examines the links between treasure hunting & secreting, and scurvy & the pox.
Kidd supervising treasure burial
Economico-cartography (aka ‘Drawing Treasure Maps’)
An essential course for all aspiring pirates who are willing to ignore the fact that virtually no real pirates actually buried their treasure.
