Vinincia, the goddess of wind, is one of the most feared gods.  It is said her wrath would cause ice ages.  Tutored by Kuladar, she blossomed into a goddess as dark and ambitious as he.  She is his daughter in spirit if not in blood.  Her cold winds are no match for her icy heart.  She would terrorize mortals for sport and level cities on a whim.
Her ambitions has led her to cross paths with many of the other gods, especially
Izneria.  It is said that when the world was young Vinincia transgressed against the goddess Gaea.  Taken with her relatively new powers, she dared to freeze the rainforest of Nepana.  Gaea would have chalked the incident up to a youthful indiscretion and let it be, but Izneria took great offense and challenged her.  The battle is believed to have been so fierce that it broke off land from Kryastal Main that would form the island of Jafre.  In the end, Izneria stood in victory.  Her loss was a great shock and wound to her pride.  After the battle, she subjected herself to rigorous training in the Dimulata with the goal of avenging this defeat.  From that day forward, Vinincia was ruled by one thought and one ambition, to defeat Izneria.  Thus one of the greatest rivalries of history began.
However, despite previous actions, the Lords are confident in Vinincia's loyalty to the realm.  The goddess has made it quite clear that though her loyalties lie with Kuladar, she would never betray the Lords.  For like all the born gods, Vinincia possesses a deep and powerful connection with Kryastal and its creators.
