HIGHLIGHTS ON THE CONDUCT OF RPMC-TWG FIELD VISITS ON PRIORITY FOREIGN-ASSISTED PROJECTS IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR ON MAY 7-11, 2007

The RPMC-TWG Zamboanga del Sur Team composed of two (2) NEDA IX Staff and one (1) staff from DILG IX together with monitoring officers from the implementing agencies of DAR, DPWH and DSWD conducted field visits on priority foreign assisted projects in Pagadian City and the municipalities of Bayog, Kumalarang, Lakewood, Guipos, Lapuyan, V. Sagun, San Pablo, Dumingag, Mahayag and Ramon Magsaysay.  A total of twenty nine (29) projects were visited funded under various funding broken down as follows: two (2) under WMCIP, three (3) projects of BIARSP III, three (3) projects of ARISP II, nine (9) project sites of KALAHI-CIDSS, six (6) road sections implemented by DPWH, one (1) airport improvement project by DOTC-ATO) and one (1) project under the Mindanao Basic Urban Services Sector Project (MBUSSP). The team also observed four (4) sites of unserviceable Telepono sa Barangay (TSB) in some municipalities.
