Ayers Rock (Uluru)

We hadn't particularly intended to visit the rock, but as the plane from Cairns back to Perth landed here, we thought we would spend two nights here. We stayed at the (expensive) Sails in the Desert, as the other hotels were reported full when we booked, though the whole of the Ayers Rock Resort is run by the same people.

We enjoyed the tours we took with Uluru-Experience, which were in small groups with very knowledgeable staff.

From there we returned to Perth and home.

I'm sorry that this report is somewhat abbreviated, but hopefully we will fill it out later. At least it's something!
