Velvet Day Three

7/21/02, Sunday
Day Three - Manhattan, NY
see route map

The last day! I can't even imagine how we'll make it into the city as I'm pretty clueless as to where we are. Mind you, none of the walkers know the routes. We just follow the arrows from stop to stop.

Taking down the tent. Now how does this all fit into that teeny bag?

Eti was up bright and early and raring to go! She had a quick breakfast and departed with the first batch of walkers. Phyllis and I took it more leisurely.

Phyllis dons on her "for Mark" t-shirt which is a tribute to her cousin whom she dedicates her walk.

One of the many big hills today. OK, be kind.....don't whine...

Walking across George Washington Bridge! Almost there!

Waiting to do our Victory Walk into the Closing Ceremony stage area. Looking good, feeling good!

The back of our Victory t-shirt logo. I'mpossible. Totally!

The speech that reminds us why we are assembled...to combat AIDS.

Sydney looking for me.

And Sassy came along too!

OK, now where and when is the next walk???
