Why have a Newsletter?
To share the newsworthy items. Something of the IT, by the IT and for the IT.
Who and what is it Going to cover?
All of you :)
On quarterly basis.
How can you contribute?
Just drop in an email at [email protected] or mail at the address at the bottom of the page.
What kind of stuff should it contain?
Anything that is a news or information or food for thought for any one concerned can be contributed for the Newsletter. Similarly, you can also voice your concerns, share ideas, ask questions and even discuss trends on this forum.
How can you get it?
We will host the newsletter at a web address for now until we can have print copies one day. It will also be available via email.
Who comprises the Newsletter Editorial Board?
For now, the editorial board/team consists of Rana Rizwan, supervised by Atif Latif. Rana Rizwan has 3 years experience with Newsletters and Magazines (at college/University level) and is currently the Editor of the Alumni Newsletter as well. All interested in joining the Editorial team may please come forward.
Sections of the Newsletter
1- a newsworthy event as reported by one of us
2- interview/profile of a senior/outstanding person
3- "Theme Now" - topic for that issue of the newsletter
3- new appointments/promotions
4- pictures of the events
5- quotes/sayings
6- an event calendar - quarterly
7- "Free style writing" - your articles
8- "Wise Corner" - extracts from professional journals, maggazines etc
9- "One Voice" - your concerns, ideas and questions
10- Miscellaneous - anything we cant put anywhere else ;)
11- Future goals and objectives
So, what to do now!!!!

The contributions are finalized and out into a newsletter form. The design and layout etc is selected by the Editorial Board.
