The statement page gives the customer an account of his :
Last few transactions (invoices/payments/adjustments etc)
Total outstanding
Credit limit
Payment due date
Billing month
Period covered by the statement
The Service Details page informs about :
Minutes of usage, days used
Free minutes allotted
Rental, rental period and amount
Long distance access and PSTN charges
General Sales Tax & Advance Income Tax
Airtime charges (airtime + voice-mail + wap)
SMS usage
Roaming charges (international and domestic)
Other service activation charge
Current bill amount
Current package information
The itemized section of the bill depicts :
Breakdown of call/usage charges, based on
Local (Ufone, other operator, PSTN)
Nationwide (Ufone, other operator, PSTN)
International
Roaming call (national & international)
Call location & destination
Date & time of call
Duration of call
Type of call
Call charges (airtime, PSTN, roaming, access, subtotal, total charge)
The summary section of the bill depicts (NEW):
Most frequently called numbers
Longest calls
Summry of the invoice for last few months
Some interesting facts about the BILL:
Statement page shows recent few transactions (last 100 days)
Balance Brought Forward is any outstanding amount older than 100 days
Service details page shows current package details
Service details page shows advance rental for next month in advance except in case of an upgrade done in the advance period…
In this case, advance rental is charged to the date of the upgrade (the date lying in the advance period)
Voice mail and W@P usage is not shown in the Itemized section of the bill (available in Singl.eView)
GST is 15% of the total charges in the current month (except Advance Income Tax)
Advance Income Tax/Withholding Tax is charged 10% of the total charges inclusive of the GST calculated in the last step.
W@P number does not have any call details
Roaming/International roaming are displayed separately on Itemized & Service Details page
Free minutes are prorated on monthly basis and are pulled from period spanning ahead
Free minutes are not deducted in Unite timing
Rental Period and Usage are not necessarily the same number of days
For now, B_VOLN charges will not apply if the customer had any usage in that month
There is no Tariff Split over rate bands
Free minutes apply to rate band splits
Billing System charges based on the parameters set in the system. These parameters work their action on the events coming from the GBMD (switch) as CDRs
