Nye Tivoli-toner cover The Tivoli Promenade Orchestra: Contemporary Tivoli Tunes, on Focus Records (FPCD 2015), Copenhagen, now available in records stores.

Live concert cd by the Tivoli Promenade Orchestra, which is a 16-piece chamber orchestra based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The group performs daily during the season in Tivoli Gardens.


Ullmann Hidden cd cover New CD David Ullmann: Hidden now released on WetCash Records by the David Ullman jazz group based in New York City. The tracks include a recent recording of my jazz piece Where Do We Go? and I am also featured on saxophone on the Ullman original entitled Waterfall.

Den lille giraf, (The Little Giraffe) a new mini-chamber-opera intended for young audiences is in development with Danish librettist Mette Kappel, premieres to be announced.

My work Interaction Solo is now available in print-on-demand in Edition Text&Graphix from the music publishing house Samfundet for udgivelse af Dansk Musik The scores Explorations and Expressions Nos.1-3 will soon be available there as well.

A growing number of my scores for chamber groups, chamber orchestra, and jazz orchestra, are available on loan from the collection at hos Statsbiblioteket i Aarhus (The State Library in Aarhus), Denmark.


Performance Events 2005:

Friday evenings at 10pm (22:00) throughout December (i.e. Dec. 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30th) I perform some of my Art Lounge music on saxophones and electronics at the Bakú Bar in Ascea Marina (SA), Italy. 

December 28 and 29: I was on the jury of the CantAscea Festival music competition.

December 11, and 18: Two Sunday morning "happy-hours," 11am to 1pm, I performed jazz originals and standards on saxophone in the Commune di Ascea Natale Ensieme celebrations in Ascea Marina (SA), Italy.

Sunday, November 13: Duo CorTo performed my work Thought in Five Parts for clarinet and percussion in the Pro Musica concert in Musikhuset (city concert hall), Sønderborg, Denmark.

July 2 and 3, 2005, the Eonta Quartet performed Mogensen's string quartet Tal: 0-5 in Torhout, Belgium.

June 30, 2005the Eonta Quartet performed Mogensen's string quartet Tal: 0-5 in a concert near Knesselare, Belgium.

May 14, 2005, the Esbjerg Ensemble performed Mogensen's string quartet Air and Marble in the Conservatory Concert Hall in Esbjerg, Denmark.

April 15 and 16, 2005, the Esbjerg Concert Hall (Musikhuset) in Esbjerg, Denmark, a new electroacoustic work entitled MoMAlyd with interactive dance was performed as part of a full-evening program entitled Zorg og den usynlige hund - en kunsthistorie by Kulturskolen Esbjerg.

February 3-24, 2005, performances at the Opera National de Paris France, of the new work Les Familiers du labyrinthe (in the series Ballet de l'opéra) by the Michele Noiret Dance Company, with music by Todor Todoroff, which Mogensen has assisted in the making of the music.
