Lyric beauty and mechanical harshness are combined in a dynamic aural dance - music and noise in unity. Comedy and despair - a subtle brutality in the creations of René Mogensen; an art form in which jazz, new chamber music and electroacoustic sound art are partners in a drama that is both abstract and physical, where runes of the imagination are offered and windmills are allowed to turn.
