As if my life was really that exciting....But I do actually work and eat in the San Gabriel Valley (aka North American Headquarters of the Chinese Diaspora). I like good food, so here's some information for those of you who plan to eat around here.

!! = At least it's not dorm food.
!!! = Tasty!
!!!! = Whoa, stop the printing presses!
!!!!! = Must've died and gone to heaven!

Price (per person without drinks)
$ = Awesome ($5 or less--my favorite)
$$ = Great (between $6 and $10)
$$$ = Good (between $11 and $15)
$$$$ = Bad (between $16 and $25)
$$$$$ = Are You Out of Your Mind?! (more than $25)

Ambience (atmosphere, cleanliness)

* = total hole-in-the-wall (my favorite)
** = decent (at least my shoes don't stick to the floor)
*** = nice (my jeans shouldn't have holes in them)
**** = really nice (my clip-on tie is somewhere in my closet)
***** = tres bien (must wear uncomfortable clothes)
