tutorial will show you how to make a DVDR backup games for
your PS2. However, you may continue this operation if only
you have a modchip installed inside your PS2 (one that is
capable of playing DVDR based games). We recommend using Pioneer
DVR-A03 DVD-R burner and PrimoDVD software for the best companion.
Before we begin, please ensure that Auto Insert Notification
for both DVD-ROM and DVD-R is turned off, other please do
so and reboot your computer.
- Open PrimoDVD software Next, click on the [Global-Image]
or [Other Image].
- Now, click on the [BROWSE], and select your image
file which will likely be either a .gi file (Global Image)
or a .iso file (ISO image) and click [OPEN] to load
it into PrimoDVD. Ensure you see the correct image you are
planning to burn loaded into the box. You are going to require
at least 5GB of free disc space for PrimoDVD to create the
temporary image file of the source disc.
- Double-click on your DVD-R drive to select it. To be safe,
select [TEST ONLY] from the drop-down menu, and press
the [Go!] to start testing your PS2 DVD-R games.
- After the test is complete and successful, change the
option in the drop-down box to [Record] and press
[Go!] to automate the process.
