KARO
The Regency of karo with is capital Kabanjahe covers an area of 2,127,25 km and the temperature ranges from 16 C - 27 C and has elevations from 700 m to 1400 m above sea level. The population is 261, 482 that spread out in 13 sub regencies and 258 towns and villages. It is bordered by Langkat in the North, Deli Serdang in the south, Dairi in the East and province Aceh in the west.
One of the primary tourist destinations in North Sumatera is Brastagi, about 66 km from Medan. It is the centre of the tourism business. Tourist attractions around Brastagi are relatively close by and easy to get to by public transportations, except for mountain climbing.
