Climate Central Portugal is favoured by winters that are mild and summers which, while hot, are rarely extreme. Spring and Autumn are characterised by warm days, average around 18-22deg with the chance of rainfall. Winters are mild: daytime temperatures during January average 15deg falling to 9deg overnight. Days are typically bright and sunny, but with the chance of heavy rainfall. Ericeira benefits from its own distinct micro-climate with early morning and evening sea mists freshening temperatures even during summer. |
