New Remington Titanium shaves as close as a blade, but can't trim QT's lead

Blaine's impressive birthday present might be as high-tech as electric razors get, but unfortunately it did nothing to help the 38-year-old husband shave a few games off his wife's big lead in Week 14 of the 2004 Sunday Football Picks.  Blaine says he will reread the instruction manual because the premium shaver should have assisted in some way.  QT Pie remained eight games up on Blaine, and moved five ahead of Mark with just three weeks left.

The new Remington Titanium Smart System just might make all other razors obsolete with its revolutionary technology.  Featuring the world's first foil-cleaning system with titanium, the MS-5500 glides across your face with ultra-flexing MicroScreens that perfectly position the blades for every facial contour.  The titanium-coated blades and foils provide an incredibly close, comfortable shave time after time.  The innovative piece of equipment has more blades than any other competitive shaver.  Beard-lifting fins raise difficult-to-cut longer hairs, and a mini-foil pops up to get even the tightest spots.  A three-position trimmer extends to define sideburns, necklines and mustaches.

The ultra-advanced electronic system operates with or without a cord.  It displays a full battery gauge that counts down remaining battery life; provides up to three weeks of cordless shaving on a single charge; contains a reserve battery that allows an extra shave if the main battery power runs out; and is engineered for automatic worldwide voltage so the shaver can be used anywhere on Earth.  If you're traveling, use the deluxe travel pouch to safely transport your valuable device.

If all that isn't enough, the Remington Titanium Smart System automatically cleans, charges and renews itself.  It jet-cleans stubble and debris from the shaver heads with an advanced solution kept hygienically clean by a disposable filter.  The solution also lubricates the state-of-the-art blades to optimize cutting performance.  The shaver automatically charges when placed in the base, and various lights indicate when the system is charging, cleaning or needs to have its solution replenished.

"Blaine deserves a great gift he can enjoy every day if I'm going to whip his fanny in the Picks," QT said.

Blaine posted his best record of the season on Sunday with a 12-3 mark, but QT matched his effort with a brilliant 12-3 of her own.  Nicki, Ali and Mark were all 11-4, and Deej was 9-6.  Blaine doesn't hear the fat lady singing quite yet as he gears up for a late-season charge.  "This awesome Remington Titanium shaver will play a key role in my tremendous comeback," said the veteran, sporting a baby-soft face.  "It seems like it can shave anything it sets out to conquer, so I have to find a way to focus it on QT's eight-game advantage over me.  Once the MS-5500 locks in, the deficit will be shredded in a hurry."

Remington officials who stumble upon this Picks story should know that Blaine is immediately available to fill a public relations position within their organization, such as company spokesman.  You can clearly see how he effectively promotes Remington products.  Please give him the chance to ditch Pace!  Salary is negotiable, and references furnished upon request.
