Father God, we thank You that our needs are met beyond the point of our own reasonings. When all hope has gone, when our struggles have ceased, when our dreams have faded and our spirits have grown weary in the journey�You come. You came to the woman at the well, when even her own need to be accepted had faded from view. She was outcast by her own shame�You came. When the lepers watched as their flesh fell from their bones, they were stripped from their families, commissioned to live in caves to hide in suffering for the rest of their lives, and none of this by their own hands �You came. When the demoniac became so accustomed to his own insanity, that he refused even Your help�You came. When the woman taken in adultery faced the recompense of her own sin and looked into the eyes of her accusers with stones in hand�You came. When Abraham stood over Isaac with knife poised ready to follow you beyond reason�You came. When the blind man stood as his very purpose for existence was questioned�You came� that Your works, Oh God, might be made manifest in Him at that very moment! Our lives are not by our own design, but by the will and work of Your creative hands! When our reality fails us�You bring us Yours. You have used the very circumstances of our lives to position us to receive from You.
Do you have a need that is beyond your own understanding to fill today?
Have you come to the end of your struggling and still not found peace?
Has hope ceased to exist and your heart grown sick in the process?
Have you looked to be accepted and found rejection on every hand?
Have your own sins overwhelmed you to the point of lifelessness?
Have you run far enough and still don�t feel safe?
Have you carefully hidden your shame and yet it still screams at you?
Have you questioned your existence and cried out for understanding?
Have you grown weak from the illnesses of this world?
Has life stripped you of your dignity?
You are poised for a miracle.
If you are positioned past reason and beyond your own understanding, you are ripe for Him to come. Stretch forth your hands in the midst of the trial and see if He will not be found faithful. No man has the answers that will satisfy your need, but when He comes every need is satisfied. And when you stand in the reflection of His glory, you will appear as pure gold. For you are priceless in the hands of an awesome God, a child of His own making, created to fellowship with Him. He will come, wait for Him. He will come. Three times a covenant... He will come!. He will come! |
