No matter what version you read it in...all of them say the same thing...you need to study your Bible. One thing that I have found particularly beneficial is to see verses in different translations. That way you can compare them and even look up the Greek and Hebrew. One tool that has been very useful to me is the BIBLE GATEWAY site. It has all the translations of the Bible and all the languages it has been written in. It also has commentaries, dictionaries, key word look up feature as well as individual passages.
