Tales from the Crypt~*****~a group of people are told the stories of each of their demises...the standout one being about a woman who kills her husband on christman and as she is hiding the body she hears a report that a serial killer wearing a santa suit has just escaped from an insane asylum. And who just happens to be creeping around the woman's house outside?
Tales from the Hood~****~3 urban thugs go to a mortuary to pick up a stash of drugs and while they are there the mortician tells them horror stories about some of the corpses there.
Teaching Mrs. Tingle~***~an.....OK movie about 3 students that tie up their bitchy teacher to try and convince her to change their grade but she begins to turn the tables on them. Not as much horror as it tries to be but has a few good humorous parts.
Tenebre~****~a writer is informed by the police that a killer is killing people based off of death scenes from the writers new novel so it is up to him to find the killer.
Terror at the Opera~****1/2~A hidden gem of the 80's from Dario Argento. This stands as one of Argento's best works along with Inferno and Deep Red. The story involves the lead of an opera where the crew is being killed by a gloved killer. One thing he likes to do though is have the poor opera singer watch the murders by tying her up and keeping her eyes open by taping a row of needles under her eyelids! The climax at the opera is great as is the rest of the movie.
Terror on Tape~**1/2~a ghoulish video store clerk introduces us to clips from a large compilation of horror movies containing gore and sex galore. Clips include: City of the Living Dead, Alien Prey, and Nightmare.
Terror Train~****~a group of med school graduates have a party on a train where a serial killer is lurking. Stars Jamie Lee Curtis.
Terrorvision~*****~a corny but fun movie about an alien that comes through a family's satelite dish and it is up to the son, his sister, and her boyfriend (one of my all-time favorite characters O.D.) to stop it.
Terror Within 2~***1/2~a group of scentists are trapped in an underground lab with a deformed mutant.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre~*****~5 people visiting an old house of one of them find themselves being attacked by a cannibalistic family.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2~****~after playing a tape of Leatherface killing someone, a radio DJ must team up with the uncle of one of the murdered kids from the original movie to stop the cannibal family.
Texas chainsaw Massacre 4~**~teens find themselves being chased in the woods by Leatherface and his new family of cannibals.
They Came From Within(aka Shivers)~****1/2~the residents of an apartment building begin being turned into sex-crazed zombies whenever they are infected by an alien creature.
They Live~***1/2~a man finds a pair of sunglasses that allows him to see that aliens are among us and planning on taking over.
The Thing~****~a group of men at an army base must fight an alien creature that evolved from a plant.
The Thing ('82 remake)~*****~after an alien dog wanders onto an army base, the men there mus fight to find out which ones of them are human and which ones of them have been taken over by the alien.
Thinner~***1/2~after a man accidentally hits an old gypsy woman, her husband puts a curse on him that makes him get thinner every day and he will never stop getting thinner.
Thirteenth Warrior~****~an excellent epic about an arab who is banished from his town and joins up with a group of Nordsmen. He helps them to fight an ancient group of evil beasts that attack and kill in the mist.
Ticks~***~a group of teens from a shelter go to a cabin for the weekend but are attacked by gigantic killer ticks.
To All a Goodnight~**~teens in a house are stalked by a killer dressed up as santa.
Toolbox Murders~****~a killer goes around an apartment building killing the reseidents with different tools.
Torso~****~Well directed and atmospheric flickin which a group of sexually open girls go to a house in the country when a masked killer with a penchant for sawing up his victims with a saw begins killing their friends on campus..little do they know is that the killer has followed them to the house. Lots of extrememly creepy imagery.
Total Recall~****~ After visiting a memory implant place, Arnold Shwarzennegar discovers that he was a spy but his memory was erased and starts to be pursued by the evil corporation that erased his memory to keep him from remembering a huge cover up involving aliens.
Totem~***~6 people find themselves trapped in cabin and wilderness where an unseen force is making them kill each other and the more people die, the closer darkness comes to ruling the world.
Toxic Avenger~****1/2~after a nerd is mutated by toxic waste during a prank, he becomes a super-hero and fights crime.
Toxic Avenger 2~***~Toxie goes to Japan to find his father but while he is there, his town is being taken over by the baddies.
Trauma~***~after a man meets this strange girl, he finds himself in the middle of a series of murders where the killer cuts off the heads of his victims.
Tremors~*****~the inhabitants of a small desert town are terrorized by giant worm creatures that are under the ground.
Tremors 2: Aftershocks~**~Earl is hired to kill a bunch of grab-oids but soon he is in trouble when the worls start evolving into something more dangerous.
Trick or Treat~****~Fun and entertaining movie about a "metal head" whose rock and roll idol Sammi Curr dies and begins to kill off the kids oppressors from beyond the grave and its up to the kid to stop him. Cameo by Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons of KISS.
Trucks~**1/2~a group of people are trapped in gas station with a group of semi-trucks circling the place.....re-do of maximum overdrive.
Truth or Dare:A Critical Madness~***1/2~a man goes on a killing spree after finding his wife in bed with another man.
Truth or Dare 3:Screaming for SAnity~**~a man whose wife and child were killed by the original killer goes crazy and starts a killing spree of his own.
Twice Dead~****~ a family moves into an old house where an actor killed himself years earlier after losing his true love. The family begins to be terrorized by the local group of punks who used the house as their hangout before the family moved in. The spirit of the actor doesn;t like seeing this new family suffer so he begins killing off the punks one at a time in neat Omen style death (not as well done though). Tame flick but still quite enjoyable.
Twisted Nightmare~*1/2~After the death of a girl's retarded brother, a group of horny teens get together and party to help her get over the loss. Soon, the brother is up and about, offing the sex starved teens one by one for making fun of him before he died. One of the tamest slasher films with awful directing. Through most of the movie, it is so dark that u cant even tell what is going on. The violence is kept to a minimum while the nudity flows in this cheapie.
