| "Things that make our summer bustle" | ||||||||||||||
| Summer 1999 Its the dog days of summer, but we cats are hardly dogging it! Theres too much to do around our house and yard in California. Heres Teds top 10 ways to know its summer: 10. Instead of the webbed footprints left in the dirt by sea gulls, the mark is of zorries. 9. Cats stop drinking from the toilet bowl and start sipping from the garbage can lids lying on the ground outside. 8. Cats have contests to see who can urp up the greenest, grassiest hairball. 7. Instead of kitty litter sticking to paws, its dirt. 6. Cats play in the dust and stalk bunnies rather than winter play of hunting dust bunnies. 5. A bowl of Mixed Grill actually has gravy rather than an orange gelatin layer. 4. Cats replace complaints about brrs with the real thing, burrs. 3. Instead of rain clouds hovering throughout the day, the morning fog burns off around 5 p.m. 2. Days are spent sleeping under beach chairs rather than on the easy chair. 1. Frisky isnt just a label on a can but a call to action! |
