CSI For The Sims 2 investigates game play enhancements, improvements, and programs for The Sims 2. This is a list of game play enhancements and improvements that made our game more enjoyable. The programs listed are useful programs in helping you get the most out of the Sims 2. The list is compiled from mods that work with the Free Time expansion pack. There may be other version available at the creators site. A word of caution, while we did not have any problems with these mods, there is always a chance that you could encounter a problem yourself.

Description: The pets food dish always stays clean. Feeding pets can be a problem and your pets can be taken away. You clean the bowl, put fresh food down and go to work. You think you have everything covered. The maid come, cleans the bowl which results in an empty bowl. Pet starves and is taken away. Or while you are at work the food spoils and the pet starves and is taken away. This solves the problem with food spoiling and the bowl being cleaned.

Description: Adds a great deal of realism to the sims. Just because you sims are not in the mood to skill does not mean they should not have to skill. In life you may not want to do something, but you still have to do it and so your sims should too.

Description: Children will no longer leave at 6:00 pm and teens at 9:00 pm. Children will stay until midnight and teens until 2:00 am.

Description: Allows for teen or older to watch kids from home lots. Great for inviting the grandparent over to watch the little ones while the parents are at work.

Description: Allows you to assign a door to a sim and have up to four additional sims use the door by giving them keys. Also will function as a male only or female only door assignment also. Works on all in game doors.

Description: This shrub allows you to adds sims to the dormie, townie, and downtownie pool. Useful for people who make their own sim pool. Also includes the option to move in sims, adopt sims, and of course remove sims from you lot too.

Mod Name: ijNoSetUnlockedPatch
Description: Solves the problem with the doors allowing your sims to see what is in a room and then trying to get there when the door is locked. Stops the tandrums that occur after they cannot gain access. Returns the locked doors to where your sims will no longer see the items in a room and try to go through the locked door only to find it locked.
