CSI For The Sims 2 investigates game play enhancements, improvements, and programs for The Sims 2. This is a list of game play enhancements and improvements that made our game more enjoyable. The programs listed are useful programs in helping you get the most out of the Sims 2. The list is compiled from mods that work with the Free Time expansion pack. There may be other version available at the creators site. A word of caution, while we did not have any problems with these mods, there is always a chance that you could encounter a problem yourself.

Description: While this will not change genetics this mod will allow you to select different skins tones for your sims. Works with a variety of popular skin makers. A quick way in testing new skins tones before they become part of your neighborhood. A useful tool to adding more variety in your townies, downtownies, dormie pools, or even changing the skintones of you custom made sims.

Description: Allows you to temporarily control a sim. A most useful mod to assist in giving townies, downtownies, dormies, and NPC makeovers.

Description: Allows your sims to do banking such as making deposits, taking out loans, paying bills, and sending money to other sims. Adds a great deal of realism to the sims. Go to More Awesome Than You for a Free Time Version found under peasantry.

Description: Stops sims from serving food all over the place. A sim serves the food on a counter or table and then takes a serving allowing other sims to get their own food. Go to More Awesome Than You for a Apartment Life Version found under peasantry.

Description: Allows you to teleport sims children and older on home and commercial lots. A must have mod for stuck sims or sims blocked by someone to get them to their destinations. Solves the most annoying problem of toddlers passing out at the top or base of the stair and blocking the path for everyone. Nannys who refuse to move, maids who trap sims in the bathrooms, and pets who take naps near doorways. Go to More Awesome Than You for a Apartment Life Version found under peasantry.

Description: Allows you to harvest orchard tress in the winter when they are in a green house enclosure. Outside trees will still go dorment.
