CSI For The Sims 2 investigates game play enhancements, improvements, and programs for The Sims 2. This is a list of game play enhancements and improvements that made our game more enjoyable. The programs listed are useful programs in helping you get the most out of the Sims 2. The list is compiled from mods that work with the Free Time expansion pack. There may be other version available at the creators site. A word of caution, while we did not have any problems with these mods, there is always a chance that you could encounter a problem yourself.

Description: For those with OFB, a solution to having every poor family in the neighborhood always broke. This mod allows for townies only to shop in your stores. For places you want both townies and playable shoppers use the money order (A separate download) and place it on your business lot for everyone to shop there.

Description: Allows you to choose who in your household is going to a community lot or business. Adds a great deal of realism to the game. A major solution to the annoyance of having to take your pets and children to your commercial business and avoid the problem of yours pet running amok, and your children driving your sims insane with dance with me, hug me, look at me, read to me, whining because they are tired, or worse throwing a tantrum while your sims are desparately trying to conduct business.

Description: A must have mod to deal with the social worker. This mod does not completely do away with the social worker but it raises the level required before the social worker comes and takes the children away. This also fixes the problem where a sim is forced to stay home because no one is there to take care of the little ones even when a nanny has been called and is on their way. Children will not be required to have a nanny when the parents will be home in a few hours. Adds a great deal of realism to the game especially in terms of working single parents with children.
