CSI For The Sims 2 investigates game play enhancements, improvements, and programs for The Sims 2. This is a list of game play enhancements and improvements that made our game more enjoyable. The programs listed are useful programs in helping you get the most out of the Sims 2. The list is compiled from mods that work with the Apartment Life expansion pack. There may be other version available at the creators site. A word of caution, while we did not have any problems with these mods, there is always a chance that you could encounter a problem yourself.

Enhancements
Facial, eyes, and skintone improvements in your game can dramatically change the appearance of your sims. Eye and Skintone such a default replacements or eye contacts and using a skin tone changer program in game to change a sims skin tone does not change genetics. It just changes the appearance of the sims and may provide a larger variety of appearances to choose from. Facial replacements replace the ingame facial templates and create new genetics. On a new neighborhood all sims will be generated or created using the new templates. On an existing newhood only new sims you create or are generate will use the new templates.

Skin Collection #2 - defaults by Enayla - a collection of four default replacement skins.
Improvements
There are many different types of mods such as ones created to fix in game problems, take care of annoyances, improve game play, add new features, or even disable existing features. Some come in a form of a object that is used in game. All these mods works with the Apartment Life expansion pack althrough other versions may be available from the mods creator.

Description: A fridge that allows you to control when your sims eat, how much they serve, and what they eat. Please understand your sims under no circumstances will get food on their own even when they are starving and about to meet the grim reaper. This file also requires Kitchen and Bath Stuff Pack.

Description: Stop your sims obsession with the trash, you sims will no longer take out the trash unless you tell them too.
Maids, robots, and nanny will still take out the trash as usual.

Description: This mod provides 23 Free Time exercise outfits for elders using the adult mesh. Consists of 11 female outfits and 12 male outfits.

Description: Both female and male elders receive three soccer athletic outfits in white/blue, red/blue, and yellow/green using the adult/young adult mesh.

Description: This mod provides 6 adut/young adult clothing items for Male and Female elders using the adult/young adult clothing mesh. Requires Seasons, GLS Pack along with Free Time.

Mode Name: AL_BlackNWhiteBareBath_ToddlersNPetsOnly
Description: This mods stops your sims for autonomously taking a bath or bubble bath and only teens and children will play in the bath tub. Instead of a new object that takes up space this game uses the in game object Black and White Bare Bath (Wood Bath Tub) instead. Toddler and Dog bath is for the purpose of bathing toddlers and dogs but you may direct your sim to use it also.
