Carnitas
1 Pork Shoulder Cubed into
1½-2" Pieces
¼ Cup Water
¼ Cup Milk
1 Tsp Oregano
Salt & Pepper to taste
Salsa or Guacamole
In heavy metal pot with lid,
place water, milk, cubed pork, oregano, salt & pepper. Cook over low flame
stirring occasionally until liquid is absorbed and only lard from pork remains.
Continue cooking until pork is brown & crispy on all sides. Drain fat. Serve
hot as tacos with salsa or guacamole and refried beans.
