Neustadt-Normanby-Carrick Agricultural Society |
The Neustadt-Normanby-Carrick Agricultural Society was founded in 1870. We are a diligent group of volunteers sharing our knowledge, skills and time with others in the community through our annual Fall Fair. Each year, a number of fundraising events are held to raise money for the Society and to bring the community together for a good time. The purposes of the Society are: 1) develop the agricultural community; 2) educate the public about the importance of agriculture; 3) support and co-operate with other assocations and organizations in the improvement of agriculture and community needs; 4) organize and hold agricultural exhibits to: a) encourage improvements in the products and methods of marketing agricultural products and livestock, b) develop the life skills of persons living in the agricultural community, c) increase awareness and appreciation of agriculture and the rural lifestyle. If you wish to make a contribution to the Society, donations of cash, prize items (agricultural or other), supplies, services, and time are greatly appreciated. Cash donations will be used as prizes for exhibitors at the Fall Fair as well as covering the general expenses that are incurred while carrying out the duties of the Society. |
