RULES and REGULATIONS of PARADE

*** ALL ENTRIES MUST BE REGISTERED ***
REGISTRATION 11:00AM TO 11:30AM

A. Register with Parade Committee at corner Registration Table upon arrival.
Register in one (1) category only.
B. Parade to commence at 11:45 Saturday morning at the corner of Forler and 
Queen Streets, to Mill, William & Enoch Street.
C. Candy or articles cannot be thrown during parade procession.
D. Parade prizes must be picked up at Secretary’s desk on Fair Day.
E. No Registration Fee.
F. Helmets must be worn for bicycles.

 1. SPECIAL: Best Theme Float - $15, $12, $10
(all registered participants are entered in this category)

 2. Best Commercial Float - $15, $12, $10

 3. Best Decorated Float - $15, $12, $10

 4. Best Comical Float - $15, $12, $10

 5. Best Group/Club with banner (remember to incorporate the theme) - $15,
$12, $10

 6. Antique or Classic Cars - $15 per entry
        Oldest Antique Car will receive a $20 Gift Certificate donated by
Butchart Automotive, Neustadt.

 7. Antique Tractors - $15 per entry

 8. Best Decorated Horse & Rider - $15, $12, $10

 9. Team of Horses, hitched to wagon or carriage, to be judged by parade judges. 
(50% allotted to horses, 50% allotted to wagon or carriage) -  $20, $15, $12


Elementary School Age Only

10. Group Float, with banner - can be walking or on float (sports team, club, 
school, class).
Please provide listing of all members of group present - $2 paid to each member 
of group

11. Best Decorated Bicycle or Tricycle - $7, $5, all entries $2

12. Best Decorated Wagon - $7, $5, all entries $2

13. Best Costume - $7, $5, all entries $2
