Born 1971 Eisenhuettenstadt, East Germany. Grew up listening to The Smiths and New Order on western radio. First performance March 1991 at Berlin club Tresor. Released Politics of Dancing October 2001.

Formed by ex-Third Eye Blind member Jason Slater. Brought in singer Tobey Torres. Wanted a woman to front SRC to give it the feel he was looking for: "The girl is the whole band. That was the idea."
