Full Storyline

Since their trip to the past and the discovery that the nebulous Triad is out to get them Prue has become obssessed with exposing and defeating the demon who has been sent to do the job. Even her love life is suffering as she stands up the hapless Sean after keeping him waiting for an hour and a half. When she arrives home to a break-in, it seems her suspicions are justified. The perp is still on the scene but runs off after being thrown through the window. The odd thing is that every mirror in the house has been broken but nothing appears to be missing. While Prue remains convinced the intruder was demonic, Darryl gets a fingerprint and is equally certain they are looking for a human.

Cole (who we now know to be the demon Belthazor) tells the Triad he is making progress and has won Phoebe's trust, but they are impatient and tell him they have already put another agent, Troxa on the case. He has the power of invisibility and watches Leo and Piper making love just as she is saying that always feels like someone is watching them! In the attic he tries to suffocate Prue with a pillow. Cole arrives and warns the girls of the danger they are in (without being specific). Phoebe wants him to stay, but Prue bluntly tells him to leave. On the porch he has a demon scrap with Troxa. Meanwhile the other two sisters are not convinced by Prue's floating pillow story and Phoebe is upset by her treatment of Cole. Prue discovers that something is missing after all: a necklace given to her by her grandmother and her favourite blouse. She supplies all the family with running shoes, the better to deal with surprise demon attacks. Meanwhile Darryl reports that they have a clean print from the mirror but that its owner has no record and can't be identified. He asks the girls to each prepare a list of potential stalkers.

Troxa tries to kill Cole in his office but is foiled with a fire extinguisher. We learn that Troxa cannot maintain his invisibility at low temperatures. Prue is on a photo shoot at the Reptile House at the Zoo, but someone in the bushes is taking photographs of her! Later at P3 Phoebe asks barmaid Abbey where Piper is and is directed to the backroom where she finds Piper and Leo snogging. Back in the bar, they compare stalker lists. Phoebe's runs to a few pages, mostly from her time in New York, what did she get up to there? Prue arrives, she has set a trap in the attic, a sort of electric chair for demons as Piper calls it. Prue joins the forgiving Sean, but is soon on her way again when her crystal indicates the trap has been sprung.

Its unlucky victim is Cole, who had earlier broken in and seemed to be setting his own trap for Troxa. Piper and Phoebe are apologetic, but Prue is suspicious of Cole who goes off in a huff. Prue takes delivery of some maggoty flowers. All together now: EEEWWW! Cole meets with Troxa and tells him he is giving up, the girls are his. During a struggle with Prue in the attic, Troxa falls into the trap. Prue uses it to torture him for information. Before being engulfed in flames he confirms that he has been sent by the Triad, along with Belthazor. Much to Phoebe's delight, Prue crosses Cole off her list of possible baddies and his secret is safe for yet another week.

Later that night Prue is surprised by an intruder in her darkroom who shoves her face into the developing fluid. Next morning we find that Abbey, the barmaid from P3, has her tied to a chair and is wearing the missing necklace and blouse. Seems that Abbey has developed a dangerous obsession with Prue, and now actually wants to become her! Meanwhile Darryl has identified the fingerprint as being Abbey's and a check of her locker at P3 reveals a wealth of incriminating evidence, including a photo which gives Phoebe a premonition that Abbey is trying to shoot Prue back at the manor. Even with her eyes partly out of commission Prue managed to get untied and is using astral projection to keep Abbey off-balance. Piper and Phoebe arrive just in time for Piper to freeze Abbey and the fatal bullet in mid-air.

Back at P3 the new barmaid Rachael seems suitably well adjusted, Sean gives Prue another chance and Phoebe and Cole get all smoochy.

Background

Traditionally, invisibility is a gift from the devil, or a magic practioner's familiar.
However there are other ways it can supposedly be achieved, amongst the more colourful are:

Kids, please don't try this at home!

Was it just me, or...

We see Abbey serving drinks at P3 while Piper is on the phone to Prue who is on her way home. Abbey is human. How did she: leave work without being missed, get to the manor, break in, nick things and break every mirror in the house before Prue got there? Unless the person at the scene of the crime wasn't Abbey, but then who was it?

It's November in San Francisco. In the first scene Prue has sensible warm clothing on. When everyone's closing up the house after Cole's been there, they all have jumpers on. So do Piper and Phoebe the next morning. Yet Prue spends a lot of evening time outside in nothing more than half a roll of tinfoil?
