Atlanta modern rock trio Marvelous 3 became a critic's darling in 1999 with their smash single "Freak of the Week" from 1998's Hey! Album. They joined the ranks of Everclear, Foo Fighters, Buckcherry, and Creed for being another energetic yet rollicking pop band. The band also became MTV mainstays and landed tour spots with Collective Soul, Eve 6, Blink 182, and Orgy.
Not entirely distracted by quick-winded success, frontman Butch honed his songwriting skills and co-wrote "Right Now" with Maryland's SR-71. The band even donned fashion spreads for Calvin Klein and Abercrombie & Fitch. Marvelous 3 returned to the homefront in 2000, releasing ReadySexGo in September.
