Full Storyline

Piper and Prue are brewing up some anti-Belthazor potion but Phoebe is more concerned about Cole's whereabouts and safety. Cole, wounded and in his Belthazor form, is hiding out in a cemetery mausoleum. He is tracked down by another demon who has been sent to destroy him and barely escapes. Back at the manor Prue and Piper try a spell to summon Belthazor so they can destroy him, but get the other demon instead. After some fighting and the weekly antique furniture destruction he introduces himself as Krell, a demon bounty hunter sent after Belthazor/Cole for killing the Triad. He suggests that the sisters team up with him to kill their mutual enemy.

Meanwhile Phoebe calls at Cole's office but finds one Reece Davidson there instead. Cole has disappeared and his colleagues know as little about it as Phoebe. Next she tries his apartment where she finds a trail of blood and finally Cole himself who changes to human form just in time. He refuses to go to hospital and a worried Phoebe goes off to get Leo.

Despite their suspicion of his motives and the dangers of doing deals with demons the other two agree to work with Krell. Phoebe pretends to go along with the plan but instead takes Leo to Cole's apartment. He is dubious about healing him since it is technically against the White Lighter code to heal anyone unless they have been injured by supernatural forces. He gives in, but when he tries to heal Cole there is resistance from the wound and the force throws Leo across the room. However the wound does partially heal and Cole is much revived. In the corridor Leo tells Phoebe that because of what happened, he thinks Cole must be a demon, and that he suspects he is Belthazor. Phoebe refuses to believe this and returns to Cole's apartment while Leo twinkles back to the manor. There he finds that Prue has also put two and two together and come up with Cole!

Leo gives them the address and the girls and Krell burst into Cole's apartment just as he seemed about to share his secret with a nervous Phoebe. Instead he morphs into Belthazor and with his dagger at Phoebe's throat teleports away. Prue gives Krell the potion (with a proviso not to hurt Phoebe) and he heads for the cemetery where he believes Belthazor has gone.

At the cemetery Phoebe seems ready to kill Belthazor until he changes to Cole, confesses all, but also insists that he really does love her. He is half human and he tells her emotionally how she has helped him get in touch with his human side. While this heartfelt speech is going on, Krell arrives and zaps him. Phoebe grabs Cole and they retreat to the mausoleum where Krell corners them. Phoebe and Krell fight and Cole gives him a fatal zapping before he can harm her. They hear the girls outside. Phoebe uses Cole's coat, some of his blood and the potion to create an expolsion, which brings the girls running. Cole teleports away just in time and the mess left behind by Phoebe's trick is enough to convince the other two that Cole is really dead.

The final scene sees a disconsolate Phoebe on the sofa contemplating Cole's dagger, all that she has left now. The other two try to cheer her up but fail, partly because they don't know the truth. Cole's secret is out at last, but now Phoebe has a secret she can't share, not even with her sisters.
