Coyote Piper

The Halliwell household is preparing for Piper's 10th Anniversary High School Reunion which is being held at P³. She is anxious that it go well and that she make a good impression - her high school years were not happy ones. As they are packing the car, Piper's former classmate the chatty and cute Justin Harper drives up to say hello.

Meanwhile, Phoebe is back at the mausoleum, site of Cole's (non) demise. When she leans against a sarcophagus she gets a vision of a woman holding a baby killing a man with a fireball. All three are in Victorian dress. She clears the dust from the inscription to see that the sarcophagus holds the remains of Benjamin Coleridge Turner! Next stop is the Historical Society where she learns that Turner was a 19th Century Assemblyman. There is a record of a son, Cole, being born to him in 1884, but no record of the son's death nor that of his mother.

Meanwhile Piper arrives at P³ and is immediately assigned to rubbish duty by the bossy Missie Campbell. When Piper goes out to the bins in the alley Terra is waiting for her. Terra stabs the male body through the heart and her essence escapes and possesses Piper. She marches back inside and the change in character is immediately obvious when she takes a stiff drink and gives Missie a good telling-off. Meanwhile back in the alley Kierkan brings the dead man back to life long enough to learn what has happened and get on Terra's trail.

Terra goes to the manor where Piper harangues her from every possible reflective surface. Terra calls Prue and tells her there is a demon after her. Prue and Phoebe answer her call and the three of them destroy the demon who is in reality Kierkan. He has a special bottle in which to capture Terra's essence and before he dies says enough to alert the other two that something is amiss. However Terra is able to put Leo out of commission with a fireball,change into some sexy gear, and leave for P³ before Prue and Phoebe check the Book of Shadows and realise Piper is possessed.

When they arrive at P³ Terra is dancing on the bar and serving tequila Coyote Ugly style. Armed with Kierkan's bottle and a spell, they drag Terra out into the alley, but the spell doesn't work - they need the Power of Three. After threatening to give Piper's body the knife-in-the-heart treatment, Terra goes back inside where she gets into a chick fight with Prue and is knocked unconscious. Justin, who has been chatting up Prue up all night, and seems comfortable with the supernatural, helps by carrying Piper's unconscious body out.

Back at the manor, desperate and complex measures are called for . Prue stabs Piper's body in the heart. Terra escapes and possesses Leo. The other two bargain with her: the bottle which could trap her in return for bringing Piper back to life (a skill Terra inherited from Kierkan). Trade completed, Terra smashes the bottle. However, with the Power of Three restored the spell is repeated and Terra is driven from Leo's body. With no bottle to go into, she is presumably destroyed for good. Leo, back to his normal self, is able to heal Piper before she bleeds to death.

Then it's washing-up time at P³. After her experience, Piper says she will no longer worry about what people say or thinkabout her. Prue and Justin seem to have made a love connection (ironic given an earlier comment that she wasn't interested in younger men!). Phoebe almost confesses to Leo that Cole is still alive. His suspicions are aroused anyway.

Highlight
