3 members - Matt Jesse and Todd - were previously in the band Days of the New, whose debut album went platinum. When the band broke up they brought in lead singer Hugo - and Tantric was born.

Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland, Las Vegas natives, part of the early 90s LA rave scene, formed the band in 1993; their music a mix of hip-hop, rock, soul, and pop. This is their second album, after 1997's Vegas.
