3. Scoring

  As mentioned above, only starting players get full points for their achievements on game day.

  a. Scoring by position

  The following is the table of points for starting roster players:

Quarterbacks
* 6 points for a touchdown
          * Plus 2 bonus (8 total points) for touchdown passes 50 to 74 yards
          * Plus 3 bonus (9 total points) for touchdown passes 75 yards or more
* 2 points for a 2-point conversion
* 1 point per 25 yards passing - thus, 100 yards passing = 4 points
* 1 point per 10 yards rushing
* Minus 2 (-2) points for every interception thrown

Running Backs and Wide Receivers
* 6 points for a touchdown
        *Plus 2 bonus (8 total points) for touchdown rushes/receptions 50-74
          yards
        *Plus 3 bonus (9 total points) for touchdown rushes/receptions 75 yards
          or more
* 2 points for a 2-point conversion
* 1 point per 10 yards rushed - thus, 100 yards rushing = 10 points
* 1 point per 10 yards receiving

Place Kickers
* 1 point for a point after touchdown (PAT)
* 3 points for a field goal
             * 5 points for a field goal over 50 yards (3 points plus 2 point bonus)

Defense/Special Teams
* 6 points for a touchdown
* 1 point for a sack
* 2 points for a recovered fumble
* 2 points for an interception
* 2 points for a safety
* Points Allowed:
    i.   7 points for 0 points allowed
    ii.  5 points for 1-6 points allowed
    iii. 3 point for 7-13 points allowed
    iv. 1 points for 14-20 points allowed
    v.  0 points for 21+ points allowed

NOTE: It is 6 points for an interception or fumble returned for a touchdown and not 8.

  b. Non-Starting Players

  Those players who are not placed on the starting roster for a franchise, are considered bench players (�reserved�).  These players receive no points.

  c.  Weekly games: The tiebreak is the total number of yards - rushing + passing + receiving.

  d. Ties for playoffs are broken according to the following tier: i.   Team record against the team(s) who they are tied with,   ii.  Points for,   iii. Difference between points for and points against.  The 4 playoff teams will be ranked 1 through 4 using the same criteria noted above.  Again, in Week 15, team #1 will play team #4, and team number #2 will play team #3.  The winners of those games face off for the Super Bowl.
