RULES CONTINUED
II. THE LEAGUE

1. The Teams

The league will consist of ten (10) teams, operated by the individual franchise owner(s). Each franchise will initially draft twelve (12) players (see "II(2) and (3)" below).  At no time, shall a team have any position on this 12-man roster open.

2. The Roster

   a. The Positions

The following are the 12 positions that must be filled upon completion of the initial draft (see "II(3)" below):

1 Quarter Backs
2 Running Backs
1 Flex (can be any position)
4 Wide Receivers
2 Team Defenses/Special Teams
2 Kickers

Please Note: For the purposes of this league, Tight Ends are considered Wide Receivers, and Full Backs are considered Running Backs.

  b. The Bench

Each franchise has three (3) open spots on their roster for the purpose of holding onto bench players. Players who are on the bench do not count towards franchise statistics for the week in which they are benched.  To obtain bench players, a franchise must use a drop/add to obtain said player. If a franchise wished to move a player from active to bench, or vice-versa, it must be noted on the starting roster submitted by the franchise owner through the Official Website before the weeks games begin. A benched player can play any position noted above.

Please Note: These bench spots do not have to be filled, and can be used when an owner determines it necessary to bench a player whom the owner does not wish to cut outright. The then benched player may be replaced by a free agent player obtained through the use of a drop/add.

Please Note: At no time may a franchises full roster contain more than fifteen (15) players/teams, including any bench players (3) that a franchise may have.

3. The Draft

  a. The Set-Up

A franchises players will be selected in a draft format. The draft order will be randomly selected and a new order will be selected after every full order selection, ie, every two rounds. For example, 1 through 10 (round 1), then 10 through 1 (round 2) - and a new order selected for the next two rounds (rounds 3 and 4), until each franchise has 12 players.

  b. The Venue

A time will be selected which is appropriate for all owners. The draft will take place either (1) in person, or (2) on the computer using either a chat room set up through MSN or Microsoft Instant Messenger.
