Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, is the urban metropolis of the Aloha State. Here the salad of cultures is artfully tossed in a blend that is harmonious yet allows each culture to retain its distinct flavor and texture. its downtown sector contrasts royal history with the modern-day action of a major government and business capital. Just 33/2 miles from downtown is the tourist mecca of Waikiki.

Maui

Maui is kown internationally for its perfect beaches, heady nightlife, and sophisticated resorts. The island offers a range of experiences, from the sun, fun, and nightlife of the West Maui "Gold Coast" to the laidback lifestyle of Hana on the east side. Maui also has outstanding restaurants and lavish landscapes, all presided over by a 10,023-ft dormant volcano named Haleakala, where you can see a sunrise like none other on earth.

Lanai

Hawaiian Airlines andAloha Airlines serve this tiny island, whose airport is a 10-min drive from Lanai City.Lanai is known for decades as the Pineapple Island after Jim Dole bought it in 1922, Lanai has been renamed Hawaii's Private Island by developer David Murdock and Dole Foles, which owns nearly all its 140 square miles. Lanai City, the only town on the island, has an 11-room hotel. Lania is for those who are happy to spend a lot of time outdoors, because the island has no commercial attractions other than those offered at the two resorts. Instead, you can visit such sights as the Garden of the Gods, where rocks and boulders are scattered across a crimson landscape ; spend a leisurely day at Hulopoe Beach, where the waters are so clear that you can see fish in hues of turquoise and jade;hike or drive to the top of Lanaihale,a 3,370-ft perch from which you can see every inhabited Hawaiian island except Kauai and Niihau; or golf at Eeperience at Koele Golf Course
