HIGH DEGREE OF CULTURE
The aboriginal languages in the south of India were associated with a high degree of culture, and hence it is not surprising to note the presence of the Dravidian element in Sanskrit. It can be easily maintained that much, that is not found in Latin and Greek but peculiar to Sanskrit alone is due to the conduct of the Aryans with the Dravidians.
PROF RAPSON
PRONUNCIATION
There are evidences which tend to show that the Aryans adapted somewhat of the pronunciation of Dravidian languages.

ALWAYS TAMIL, NEVER SANSKRIT
There is yet another important difference between Tamil and other Dravidian literary languages; the metalanguage of Tamil has always been Tamil, never Sanskrit.
DR. KAMIL ZVELEBIL

WEALTH OF WORDS
Tanil has a wealth of words which English lacks; thus in its first stage, new form is the blossom. The apple is a (pinju), developed but still immature is (kaai ) , when fully ripe it is (kani).
DR. GEORGE UGLOW POPE
TAMIL CHARACTERISTICS
Davidian characteristics have been traced alike in Vedic and classical Sanskrit in the Prakrits or early popular dialects and in the modern vernaculars derived from them. The presence of the second series of dental letters, the so called cerebrals in the language of the Rigveda and their absence from any other Indo-European languages is ascribed to Dravidian Influence.
