I'm am starting all those decorating projects that I
haven't had the time or money to do since moving into our condo almost four
(four!?!?!...how did the time go so fast) years ago. The projects are
listed chronologically and I've tried to go into as much detail as possible so
that if you feel inspired, you can read and learn from my mistakes, because,
believe me, I make A LOT of mistakes. I'm not particularly handy, but I
have lots of ideas and I'm too cheap to hire anyone.
My main inspirations for decorating are
Canadian House and Home magazine and
Divine Design with Candice Olson. I have subscribed to House
and Home for years and read and reread it religiously. I recently
de-cluttered our little home and decided to get rid of a bunch of old issues.
I couldn't bear to throw them out, so I gave them to my friends and family.
I watch Divine Design on W network. Reruns are every weekday morning and
the new episodes are Thursday night. She is brilliant with transforming
spaces to be super stylish and very functional.
