There you go Sam.  That primer looks great.  Just think, 1-coat of primer and 1-coat of semi-gloss paint and all the pieces will be done.

"Haw, haw Uncle Mike - Very Funny..."

Next, we need to start preparing the foundation...
Now, it's at this point during the process that the kids had to leave and return home to Cheyoming (Cheyenne, Wyoming to us Southerner's) before school started.  The kids were a great asset in the almost completion of the project.  They got to paint some, build some, but for the most part, did not get to participate in the final assembly of the doghouse.  So for them, they will be seeing it for the first time here on the web in almost 2-years...   "Sorry you had to wait so long kids..."

During and since Summer 2001, Nyla and I thought it would be great to have the dog house on our screened in porch, where we originally built each piece.  That is where our little doggies have been since we and the kids built it.

That is up until last sunday, May 4, 2003 where we evicted them from the porch out into their play yard.  They will still have access to the porch on occassion.  So part of this photo array is from just recently, from setting up the foundation in the yard to final assembly - and on - whichever or whatever comes next for the little doggies.
